Mr KOSTAS GEORGIOU

        Since 2007, he has been a partner at Euditi Ltd (www.euditi.gr), a provider of consulting and project development services on energy efficiency, renewables, energy storage and hybrid systems projects
        
        In 1988 he joined the Center for Renewable Energy Sources in Greece where he served as the manager and chief scientist of the Photovoltaics Department.  At this position he played the key role in the development of the Greek National Program for Photovoltaics and the development international collaborations
            
        From 2000 till 2007 he worked for Germanos – Systems Sunlight S.A. as a business development manager for photovoltaic systems and focused on the development of grid connected PV projects and new solar and hybrid photovoltaic products for the telecom market
        
        In 2007 he joined Enfinity Group as the general manager for Enfinity Hellas Holdings S.A. In this position he worked on the development of renewable energy investment projects, energy storage projects and electrification of islands in developing countries. In 2016 he became the manager of energy storage activities of the Group
        
        Holds a B.Sc. in Physics from University of Athens and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University

        From 1989 till 2006 he focused his business activities on the real estate development and construction sectors. He offered civil engineering services, constructed and co-invested in several privately owned office buildings and house complexes and was also awarded several public construction contracts
        
        From 2006 onwards he focused his business activities on photovoltaics and metallic construction projects. He is the owner of a metallic structures manufacturing company. In 2018 his company constructed the facilities of an award-winning solid waste treatment and biogas plant in Greece
        
        Since 2006, he has led the construction of over 50 photovoltaic systems for various customers and industrial hybrid photovoltaic systems for remote electrification of telecommunication facilities
        
        He has also invested in photovoltaic systems and is the owner of 5 photovoltaic plants in Greece totaling 6 MW
        
        Holds B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from National Technical University of Athens
